Kathak
Kathak is one of the nine major Indian classical dance forms, originating from ancient northern India. It evolved from the Kathakars, or storytellers, who conveyed stories from Hindu epics through dance, music, and songs. The name "Kathak" comes from the Sanskrit word katha, meaning "story".
